Emergency Procedures
Introduction
Crescent School's Emergency Procedures web portal contains simple step-by-step emergency procedures suitable for faculty/staff, extended Crescent family, renters and guests.
The goal of the Emergency Procedures is to protect the health and safety of the Crescent community and to minimize the potential human and financial loss associated with many emergencies.
To be effective, it is important that everyone familiarize themselves with these emergency procedures at least once per school year.
For these procedures, please note the following:
2. Evenings/Weekends/Holidays:
Note: The Wellness Center (i.e. Nurses’ Office) is open during the school year, from September to June, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
1. Daytime (weekdays) is defined as:
a. From September to June (school year)
b. From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
c. From Monday to Friday, excluding holidays
2. Evenings/Weekends/Holidays:
a. Evenings
i. September to June (school year)
ii. 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
iii. From Monday to Friday (excluding holidays, and weekends)
b. Weekends
i. From September to June
1. From 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (if an event is scheduled)
ii. From July and August
1. From 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
iii. Saturday and Sunday
c. Holidays
i. On statutory holidays the school is closed
ii. Other holidays will depend on rental activity
