  • September 1, 2025: Enrolment Opens

    Online applications are accepted for enrolment in the 2026–2027 school year.

  • September–December 2025: Campus Tours

    Campus tours take place every fall for families interested in our Lower (Grades 3–6), Middle (Grades 7 & 8) and Upper (Grades 9–12) Schools.

    Tours run from September to December, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. 

  • October 6, 2025: Applications for Grades 1 and 2 Open

    Online applications are accepted for enrolment in the 2026–2027 school year.

  • Wednesday, October 15, 2025: Middle School (Gr. 7 & 8) Open House

    Our Middle School Open House for families interested in enrolling their sons in Grades 7–8 at Crescent for the 2026–2027 academic year is on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

  • Wednesday, October 15, 2025: Upper School (Gr. 9–12) Open House

    Our Upper School Information Session for families interested in enrolling their sons in Grades 9 to 11 at Crescent for the 2026–2027 academic year is on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No campus tours will be offered during this event; however, families will have the opportunity to connect with subject heads, directors of our Character-in-Action programs, and other important members of our school community.

  • Thursday, October 16, 2025: Lower School (Gr. 3–6) Open House

    Our Lower School Open House for families interested in enrolling their sons in Grades 3–6 at Crescent for the 2026–2027 academic year is on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

  • November & December 2025: Grade 7 & 9 Assessments

    • Grades 7 and 9 applicants will write an in-person assessment at either Crescent School, The York School or Royal St. George's College. We are collaborating with RSGC and The York School to deliver the assessment. Applicants only need to write one assessment regardless of the school(s) they are applying to.

      The test fee is $125.

      Applicants to Crescent, RSGC or The York School are welcome to write on the following dates:

      Grade 7 Assessment:
      • Saturday, November 15, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS
      • Saturday, November 29, at 9:00 a.m. at Crescent School
      • Saturday, December 6, at 9:00 a.m. at RSGC 
      • Saturday, December 13, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS
    •  
    • Grade 9 Assessment:
      • Saturday, November 15, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS
      • Saturday, November 29, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS
      • Saturday, December 6, at 9:00 a.m. at Crescent School
      • Saturday, December 13, at 9:00 a.m. at RSGC
    International or Out-of-Province Applicants
    Grade 7 and 9 international and out-of-province applicants will write the test virtually on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. EST.

    The assessment focuses on mathematics and literacy and is tailored to your child's age, and includes multiple-choice and short-answer questions. No preparation is required.
  • November 25, 2025: Parent Information Session for Grades 1 and 2

    Please join us on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for an information session on the launch of Grades 1 and 2 at Crescent School. This session will provide you with an overview of our vision for these new entry points, including the academic program, student experience, and admissions process. You will also have an opportunity to hear from and connect with school leaders.

  • December 1, 2025: Application Deadline

    We accept late applications after the deadline. Please note that the application fee is $325 from December 2 onwards.

    After Offer Day (February 20, 2026), select late applicants may be contacted for an interview.
  • January 7 & 8, 2026: Crescent Close-Up for Grade 1 & 2 Applicant Families

    Once families have submitted an application, they will be invited to book a time to attend a Crescent Close-Up visit. Each visit will feature a discussion with our school leaders, providing you with the opportunity to ask questions and connect in a more personal way. The small group setting makes it easier to engage in meaningful discussion and learn how our mission and values come to life in the classroom. Children applying to Grades 1 and 2 are expected to attend and participate in a fun, age-appropriate activity nearby. Families will sign up for one session on either January 7 or 8, 2026. Registration will be available in December.
  • January 9, 2026: Financial Assistance Deadline

    The deadline to apply for financial assistance for the 2025–2026 academic year is January 9, 2026.
  • January 17, 2026: Grades 3 to 5 and Grade 7 Experience Crescent Day

    Experience Crescent Day is a mandatory, in-person event for applicants to Grades 3–5 and Grade 7. It provides prospective Crescent students with the opportunity to engage with the three pedagogies that are foundational to a Crescent School education: active, experiential, and relational.

    There are practical and evaluative components to the day. During this event, boys will: 
    • Participate in activities that focus on collaboration, critical thinking and positive leadership
    • Engage in experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity and adaptability
    • Explore and navigate new relationships with others while maintaining a growth mindset, courageous spirit and awareness of self
    • Demonstrate learning in a classroom environment
  • January 19-30, 2026: Grades 1 & 2 Interviews

    All interviews for applicant families of Grade 1 and 2 students will be scheduled during this two-week period. You will be able to book your family interview through the link in your applicant checklist in December.
  • February 20, 2026: Offer Day

    Admission decisions are communicated to all applicants.
