• September 1, 2026: Enrolment Opens

  Online applications are accepted for enrolment in the 2027–2026 school year.

• September–December, 2026: Explore Crescent Campus Tours

  Campus tours take place every fall for families interested in our Lower (Grades 1–6), Middle (Grades 7 & 8) and Upper (Grades 9–12) Schools.
  
  

  Tours run from September to December, every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
  
  Bookings will reopen on September 1, 2026.

• October 26, 2026: Middle School (Gr. 7 & 8) Crescent Close-Up Information Evening

  Our Middle School Close-Up for families interested in enrolling their sons in Grades 7–8 at Crescent for the 2027–2028 academic year is on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No campus tours will be offered during this event; however, families will have the opportunity to connect with subject heads, directors of our Character-in-Action programs, and other important members of our school community.

• November 5, 2026: Upper School (Gr. 9–11) Crescent Close-Up Information Evening

  Our Upper School Close-Up for families interested in enrolling their sons in Grades 9 to 11 at Crescent for the 2027–2028 academic year is on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No campus tours will be offered during this event; however, families will have the opportunity to connect with subject heads, directors of our Character-in-Action programs, and other important members of our school community.

• October 29, 2026: Lower School (Gr. 1–6) Crescent Close-Up Information Evening

  Our Lower School Close-up for families interested in enrolling their sons in Grades 1–6 at Crescent for the 2027–2028 academic year is on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No campus tours will be offered during this event; however, families will have the opportunity to connect with subject heads, directors of our Character-in-Action programs, and other important members of our school community.

• Grade 7 & 9 Assessments

  Grades 7 and 9 applicants will write an in-person assessment at either Crescent School (CS), The York School (TYS) or Royal St. George's College (RSGC). Applicants only need to write one assessment regardless of the school(s) they are applying to.
  
  The test fee is $125.
  
  Applicants to CS, RSGC or TYS are welcome to write on the following dates:
  
  

  Grade 7 Assessment:

  • Saturday, November 7, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS
  • Saturday, December, at 9:00 a.m. at RSGC or TYS or 
  • Saturday, December 12, at 9:00 a.m. at CS

  
  Grade 9 Assessment:

  • Saturday, November 7, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS
  • Saturday, December, at 9:00 a.m. at TYS or CS
  • Saturday, December 12, at 9:00 a.m. at RSGC

  International or Out-of-Province Applicants
  Grade 7 international and out-of-province applicants will write the test virtually on Saturday, January 9, 2027, at 8:00 a.m. EST.
  
  

  Grade 9 international and out-of-province applicants will write the test virtually on Saturday, January 9, 2027, at 8:00 a.m. EST. The assessment focuses on mathematics and literacy and is tailored to your child's age, and includes multiple-choice and short-answer questions. No preparation is required.

• December 1, 2026: Application Deadline

  We accept late applications after the deadline. Please note that the application fee is $325 from December 2 onwards.

  
  After Offer Day (February 26, 2027), select late applicants may be contacted for an interview.

• January 7 & 8, 2027: Grade 1 Experience Crescent Day

  Grade 1 Experience Crescent Day is a mandatory, in-person event for parents and students. This event brings families together in small groups for conversation with members of our Executive and Enrolment teams. During this time, boys will engage in age-appropriate activities designed to encourage play, curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Families will sign up for one hour-long session on either January 7 or 8, 2027. Sign-up for this event will be available in December.

• January 8, 2027: Financial Assistance Deadline

  The deadline for prospective families to apply for financial assistance for the 2027–2028 academic year is January 8, 2027. Please visit our website or contact Richard Vissers, Director of Enrolment, at rvissers@crescentschool.org or 416-449-2556 ext. 228.

• January 16, 2027: Grades 3 to 5 and Grade 7 Experience Crescent Day

  Experience Crescent Day is a mandatory, in-person event for applicants to Grades 3–5 and Grade 7. It provides prospective Crescent students with the opportunity to engage with the three pedagogies that are foundational to a Crescent School education: active, experiential, and relational.
  
  There are practical and evaluative components to the day. During this event, boys will: 

  • Participate in activities that focus on collaboration, critical thinking and positive leadership
  • Engage in experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity and adaptability
  • Explore and navigate new relationships with others while maintaining a growth mindset, courageous spirit and awareness of self
  • Demonstrate learning in a classroom environment

• February 26, 2027: Offer Day

  Admission decisions are communicated to all applicants.
