Guidance & University Counselling

    • Grade 12 students with University Counsellor
Crescent School’s Guidance and University Counselling is available to all boys in our Upper School.
As boys enter Grade 9, they will be assigned to a Guidance & University Counsellor who will work with them through the duration of their Upper School experience. They will counsel the boys in their course selection from Grades 9 through 12, with an eye to university to ensure that post-secondary opportunities are investigated and kept open.

Grade 10 students are introduced to the university world through the mandatory Careers class which is taught by the Guidance and University Counsellors. In Grade 11, we engage families in the post-secondary process through a series of questionnaires, workshops and personal interviews. This opens communication lines early between the School, students and parents.

In their graduating year, students work directly with their university counsellor to formulate the best application plan in the hopes of having a variety of excellent post-secondary choices.

University Counselling also arranges for university representatives from around the world to visit Crescent School each year.
