ABOUT CCBE: Fostering a community of inquiry to inform our teaching practice
About the CCBE
The Crescent Centre for Boys’ Education is dedicated to discovering how boys learn best. The work of the CCBE is categorized into three interrelated domains:
Research and Partnerships
Professional Learning
Community Education
These domains encompass the breadth of CCBE's initiatives with a focus on character education, well-being, and boy pedagogy.
The CCBE continues to foster advancement in boys' education by creating a research culture that asks the following:
How does our research inform our practice and benefit the education of boys?
How will our community of inquiry and research culture support Crescent’s mission delivery and strategic plan?
It is our goal to enhance Crescent School’s mission—Men of Character from Boys of Promise—by implementing our research findings within our School, and by making these findings available to others both locally and globally.
