A Whoville Holiday Celebration

The festive season kicked off in high gear on November 27, thanks to the CPA and their amazing Holiday Celebration held exclusively for our boys.

The Hudson Family Field House was transformed into a festive Whoville wonderland. Boys sipped on Who-Cocoa Delight, munched on Max’s Pretzel Loops, bounced and played at Mount Crumpit Inflatables & Games, and visited the Whoville Sweet Shoppe, filled with baked goods, sweets, and mystery candy grab bags—some hiding golden surprises!

This is the second year that the CPA Holiday Celebration has taken on this format. The dining hall construction has meant that the holiday market, previously held in the CCL Lobby, can no longer be accommodated. “The Our Way Forward construction necessitated a complete rethink of the Holiday Celebration, but it’s been a welcome change,” says Rachel MacMillan, president of the Crescent Parent Association. “This incarnation is completely boy-centric. It brings our parent community together with purpose and provides them with a meaningful opportunity to interact with staff and students.”

Taking turns by division, boys of all ages jumped, scored, snacked, and laughed their way through the holiday wonderland, making memories that will last all season long. As the student event wound down, members of the CPA were still going strong. The CPA Holiday Cocktail Party: A Whoville Holiday took place that evening in the MS|US Library. The adult-only celebration featured a lively DJ, silent and live auctions, and a chance to shop for unique gifts and festive treasures from the Coyote’s Den.
