Crescent’s Character-In-Action programs provide our boys with authentic opportunities to develop character outside of the classroom.

Empowering students to become informed, engaged global citizens committed to a sustainable future.

This educational trip to Denmark focuses on climate change, social justice, and the power of youth activism. Students will explore how environmental challenges intersect with fairness and equality while gaining the tools to take meaningful action in their own communities. Through hands-on workshops, discussions, and collaborative projects, students will examine real-world solutions to climate issues and learn how young people around the world are leading change. 

Highlights may include:
  • Taste of Copenhagen: Explore the lively Nyhavn Food Truck Zone for local cuisine and soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere on foot.
  • Design & Innovation Exploration: Visit Søndre Campus and the Danish Design Museum to discover the country’s world-renowned design culture.
  • Education & Sustainability: Visit Emdrup and engage in discussions on sustainability at the Danish School of Education.
  • Cultural Immersion & Green Spaces: Walk through Amager Fælled, engage with local educators, and attend Copenhagen’s Culture Night festivities.
  • Innovative Urban Planning: Tour BLOXHUB and the Danish Architecture Center’s “Water – A Changing World” exhibition.
  • Urban Farming Experience: Tour a local urban farm, enjoy a lunch made from local produce, and learn about sustainable food practices.
  • Bike & Sustainable City Tours: Take part in a two-hour bike tour and a three-hour Sustainable Tour to see Copenhagen’s green innovations firsthand.
  • School Exchange: Participate in a workshop and cultural exchange at the Copenhagen International School.
  • Alternative Community Visit: Hike Copen Hill for panoramic city views and explore the self-governed community of Freetown Christiania.
  • Cross-Border Learning in Malmö: Travel to Sweden for a sustainable city bike tour and a visit to Augustenborg, a model of eco-urban living.
