Faculty Research

In its commitment to professional growth, Crescent School encourages faculty to undertake research projects that deepen their mastery of their teaching practice.
Action Research

Action research refers to a systematic inquiry conducted by teachers to better understand aspects of their professional practice and improve how their students learn.

Action research at Crescent is conducted within the framework of the International Boys’ Schools Coalition (IBSC). Since 2010, many Crescent faculty members have presented action research projects to their peers at national and international conferences. Learn more about action research with the IBSC.

Crescent is an active participant in international research on boys’ education.
