Crescent Competes at OFSAA Track & Field
Three Crescent students competed against the best track and field athletes in Ontario at the OFSAA Track and Field championships held June 6-8, 2019 in Guelph. They had advanced to OFSAA following their results at the Metro Championship held at the end of May.
Grade 10 student James W. (shown left) placed 9th in the Junior Boys Long Jump with a distance of 5.9m, his personal best time.
Grade 9 student Minh C. (shown centre) placed 22nd in the Midget Boys Javelin with a throw of 37.02m.
Grade 10 student Tega A. (shown right) placed 7th in the Junior Boys Triple Jump event with a personal best distance of 12.79m, and placed 12th in the Junior Boys Long Jump with a distance of 5.90m.
