Past & Present Magazine Shares Alumni Stories

Does character influence a career in professional sports? The latest issue of Past & Present, Crescent School’s alumni magazine, explores this question with rugby player Dan Moor ’08, former professional hockey players David Harlock ’89 and Matt Buckles ’13 and Formula 2/Formula One Test driver Nicholas Latifi ’13 as well as Eric Khoury ’07, Director of Analytics and Assistant Coach with the Toronto Raptors.

The Winter 2019 issue of Past & Present also features profiles of Alex Mihailidis ’92, whose work with robotics and artificial intelligence is making life easier for an aging population, and Carter Smith ’13, who is finding ways to improve cancer care for women in Tanzania. Plus there are articles from Keshiv Kaushal ’18 about teaching financial literacy to kids and from Fraser Chapman ’93 about how the popular Morning Glory Cycling Club got started.

Other highlights include an interview with former Headmaster John Tansey and perspectives from some of Crescent’s long-serving faculty.
