Math Contest Results Add Up To Success

Crescent’s math scholars earned excellent results in the CSMC and CIMC national mathematics contests. Upper School math teacher Alex Pintilie reports that Crescent’s senior team ranked 9th in Canada and 8th in Ontario, and are champions of the most competitive zone in the entire country. Crescent had 34 students who received certificates of distinction and five students (Zhihao Patrick Su, Max Bennett, Eric Song, Benjamin Freedman and Maaran Murugathas) were mentioned on the National Honour Roll that comprises about 3% of all the competitors.
