Crescent Camps Returning to “More Normal” This Summer

“We’re excited to return to a more normal summer,” says Matthew Corolis, Director of Crescent Camps. After two summers of adjusting camp programs to pandemic rules and guidelines, there is light on the horizon. With significantly fewer restrictions, Corolis and his team have prepared a full slate of in-person and online camps that cover robotics, languages, business, sports, leadership, the arts and more.

For the first time, Crescent Camps will offer Discovery Junior, for boys and girls aged 4 to 5 years old. It includes STEM, art, sports and the outdoors. “It’s the perfect balance and campers get a little bit of everything,” says Corolis. “This has been one of our most popular programs.”

Campers can pick from returning classics like Budding Architects and Money Matters, or exciting new options. Fun with Science, the most popular program during virtual camp in 2020 and 2021, has been adapted for in-person delivery. Brand-new programs include Music Camp, an intermediate level of the popular Make It Or Break It Camp, and Active Explorer, for those who love sports and the outdoors.
Many beloved camp counselors will be returning this year, including well-known Crescent staff. “We’re building out our counselor team right now,” says Corolis. “June is going to be here before we know it!”
