“Summer 2019 was our most successful summer yet,” says Crescent Camps Director Donna MacKenzie. “We were thrilled by the enthusiastic and imaginative leadership shown by our Head Counsellors as they designed and led our expanded camp programs this summer.”
Crescent Camps offered 19 different programs over six weeks this summer, themed around innovation, creativity and collaboration while building connections and character. The camps were open to girls and boys ages 6 to 17 and over 400 camp spaces filled quickly.
Whether they were exploring the ravine, sharpening their financial literacy, designing robots, building sports skills, getting creative with arts and drama or involved in one of the many other programs held at Crescent School, the campers had a blast.
Feedback from the campers and their parents emphasized the high calibre of the camp staff and the engaging programming, says MacKenzie. “Our families consistently rated our staff and programs as exceptional.”
As one young camper said, “Even though we are learning stuff it’s a lot of fun!”
“Our incredible team of instructors, counsellors and leaders-in-training worked tirelessly so that every camper could enjoy the best possible experience,” says MacKenzie. “We look forward to continuing to provide superior quality staffing and programming next year.”
Registration for Crescent’s March Break 2020 camps will open in late December, and registration for the Summer 2020 camps will open January.
