Yes. Every parent/guardian must read and consent to the Crescent Camps Code of Conduct
. It is based on Crescent School’s Code of Conduct and is rooted in four core values: respect, responsibility, honesty and compassion.
Crescent Camps promotes responsibility, respect and civility in a safe learning and fun camp environment. A positive camp culture exists when all members feel safe, included and accepted and actively promote positive behaviours and interactions. All campers, counsellors, instructors and staff have the right to be safe, and feel safe, in the Crescent Camp community.
These standards of behaviour apply not only to campers, but to all individuals involved in the Crescent Camps community – parents, volunteers, counsellors, instructors and staff – whether they are on school property, on school buses, at camp-related events or activities, or in other circumstances that could have an impact on the camp climate.
