CSS provides both academic enrichment and remediation.  Teachers are cross-appointed to CSS to provide support both to classes, small groups and one-on one with individual students.  Students are identified for enrichment or remedial support by teachers, and may also self-identify.  Students may meet for individual sessions or for regular, ongoing tutoring provided by Crescent teachers who are very familiar with our curriculum, pedagogical strategies and assessment practices.

In addition, regular workshops and one-on-one sessions are offered in the areas of time-management, organization and study skills, and test preparation.

Individual educational assessments are also offered along with a tutoring referral service. In collaboration with University Counselling, students may also access personality and career interest materials that can assist with future academic planning.

CSS houses numerous computers and workspaces that support individual and group study. Students are encouraged to use Crescent Student Services as a further place of study. It is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day.
