Sustainable Action Projects: 2007-2008 - Nationally

The United Nations began its effort towards sustainable development by designating 2005-2015 as the decade of sustainable development. In the same respect, so did Crescent School through its introduction of the Sustainable Action Projects last year. Currently, students have the chance to participate in a number of action projects all connected through the overarching theme of sustainability. These initiatives will be linked to the curriculum, thereby allowing students to make connections between concepts studied in class and the real world. This initiative also supports Crescent’s Strategic Plan in the following sectors: Centres of Excellence, Men of Character, Global Outreach and University Placement.
