Crescent School Endowment

As at May 15, 2013, The Crescent School Foundation had assets of $7.6 million. During the 2011-12 fiscal year, The Foundation received donations of $469,592 directly largely toward the School’s Great Boys campaign in support of programmatic initiatives including Crescent Student Services/R & D in Boys' Education, Robotics and Technology, International Outreach and Student Financial Aid.

The Crescent School Foundation, established in 1994, makes an annual distribution to the School to fund various programs in perpetuity. In addition to the campaign programmatic initiatives, The Foundation’s annual disbursement continues to support programs such as Local Outreach, scholarships, prizes and bursaries, Leadership in Sports, Mathematics, Athletics and Music.

The Foundation Directors meet regularly to review quarterly and annual financials, and establish and review policies in an effort to ensure the health and growth of the Foundation’s assets in both the short and long term. The Foundation’s Endowment Fund ensures the School can provide the very best educational opportunities across a broad spectrum of curricular and co-curricular programs.
