Student life at Crescent is rich and varied, with many opportunities for students to get involved, find their passion, and work to make a difference, both at the school and beyond.

Outreach Program

Once we understand we can care, and once we care, we can change.

-Jimmy Carter, Nobel Peace Prize Winner and former U.S. President

The Outreach Program at Crescent School aims to provide each student with an opportunity to understand the world in which he lives. Through their active participation in local, national and international experiences, students become aware of their role in society, and, more importantly, become sensitive to the needs of others.

The community we serve at Crescent is a privileged one. With privilege comes responsibility. In this respect, the International Outreach Program plays a critical role in the overall education of the Crescent student. We must encourage our boys to become caring, contributing members of society and, in so doing, develop young men who are true Global Citizens, possessing the social conscience and core values required to make the world a better place.

By nurturing within our students a strong understanding of the inter-connectedness between local actions and global consequences, we will foster a new generation of global citizens engaged in responsible individual and cooperative actions. This in turn will encourage the development of leaders who will make decisions that are ecologically sound, economically sustainable and socially just, thereby ensuring a secure, prosperous society for present and future generations.
