Head Boy and Prefects
Prefects are grade 12 students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership potential and are therefore the delegated representatives of the student body and the Headmaster. They are elected to the position by their fellow students and peers and by the faculty of the school.
Prefect responsibilities include liaising with the Lower School and Middle School, running assemblies, working with the school’s Outreach program, and generally overseeing student life including arts, social, academic and sports related opportunities. They function together with Grade Representatives, Senior Mentors and House Captains to help create a cohesive and effective Student Leadership program.
The Head Boy is usually a student who has achieved remarkable things, in many aspects of his school life, in his time at Crescent. He is regarded as having the top leadership position at the school, with his main duty being to oversee Prefects and help with portfolios.
