Message from the Head

I’m proud of our talented and dedicated faculty. Not only are they subject specialists with a passion for what they teach—nor are they just energetic classroom practitioners with a firm understanding of how boys learn and grow—they are compassionate people who genuinely care about each boy.

At the heart of a Crescent education lies the positive, supportive relationship that develops between teachers and students. These relationships encourage boys to develop the confidence and courage to stretch to their best, in the classroom, and beyond. Our teachers understand themselves as leaders: they have a clear vision of the destination, and they move their students through the various stages of the journey with a deft combination of strategy, discipline, organization and inspiration.

In turn, our students give back. Over 90 per cent of our grade 12s step forward to accept a leadership responsibility, to make a personal commitment to leaving Crescent School a better place through their involvement.
