Lower School
Lower School students who are not on teams are expected to participate in a comprehensive intramural programme. This programme allows every Lower School boy to have an athletic experience during the school year. The Intramural Programme will run from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Wednesdays for students in grades 3 and 4, and on Thursdays for students in grades 5 and 6. Our Intramural Programme is coordinated by Lower School teachers with assistance from some senior students.
Middle School
Middle School students who are not playing for a representative team during any of the three terms have the opportunity to participate in a supervised recreational Intramural programme. This programme is offered one afternoon per week starting at 3:30 p.m. and is coordinated and supervised by a Middle School faculty member. Sports offered include floor hockey, basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer.
Upper School
Intramurals run mainly in the Field House on Tuesdays starting at 3:30 p.m., and on modified Wednesdays starting at 2:00 p.m. The Tuesday and Wednesday programme is open to all students who are not on a team in the Upper School, and consists of fun competitive seasons involving sports such as basketball, floor hockey, touch football, ultimate frisbee, soccer and others. |
