Our visitors tell us that there is something unique about Crescent that is evident on first walking through our front doors: they feel immediately ‘at home’.
At Crescent we do consider ourselves a large, extended family. Every effort is made to make new families feel welcome. Parent volunteers phone each new family shortly after the start of the school year, and there are many opportunities to connect with returning parents at both social and school events. New students in the Upper School are assigned to a mentor group. Each mentor group has a senior student whose job is to act as a "big brother" to new students in the group.
The concept of the three-way partnership between faculty, parents and students forms the basis of our school culture. We work hard at building relationships, and we believe strongly that this is what makes our school unique.
